BATON ROUGE, La. – Directed Analytics, a prominent innovator in goal attainment technology solutions is thrilled to announce its collaboration with EmployBR to launch a 10 participant pilot that will enhance their employability skills and job readiness. Directed Analytics is enthusiastic about its partnership with EmployBR. EmployBR collaborates with federal, state, and local governments, as well as colleges, schools, and community and faith-based organizations, to provide comprehensive workforce development services that result in employment.
Directed Analytics will provide EmployBR with a hands-off solution, which includes its proprietary 4SightGPS framework and software and its Transition Skills as a Service offering to develop individualized employability skills for EmployBR’s pilot participants.
The primary objective of this pilot is to extend support to individuals from traditionally underserved communities in the Capital region who have endured a myriad of personal challenges, equipping them with the necessary tools for success. This initiative aims to identify and address challenges experienced, guiding participants onto a positive trajectory toward competitive employment. Recognizing the lack of support for such communities, our goal in partnership with EmployBR is to improve employment outcomes, says Derrick Wesley, Education Program Director.
Amanda Stanley, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Chief Administrator of Workforce Development Board 21 City of Baton Rouge, believes that the incorporation of Directed Analytics’ solution can strengthen the youth program. The Directed Analytics and EmployBR collaboration aim to incorporate a deeper focus on overcoming barriers, aiming for a substantial impact on the youth involved. In Louisiana, where the minimum wage is $7.25, “our hope is that our youth get an opportunity to find a pathway to better opportunities and build a foundation for a better future,” states Amanda.
The start date for this project is December 2023, and the slated completion is in May 2024. We envision this initiative as a catalyst for solutions, presenting a marketable product for Baton Rouge and cultivating more productive community members. The goal is to serve 100-200 youths in Baton Rouge annually.” Says Amanda.
