Transition Skills as a Service
TSaaS
Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)/Intellectual Developmental Disorder (IDD) – also known as neurodivergent community – is an underrepresented community in today’s workforce. Unemployment for neurodivergent adults is 30-40%. Neurodivergent adult unemployment is 3x the rate of individuals with disabilities and 8x the rate of individuals without disabilities.
The unemployment rate is high because of the Neurodivergent Employment Ecosystem Support Organizations do not:
- have the resources needed to adequately prepare individuals for higher education and competitive, integrated employment,
- collect all pertinent Employability Skills Development data,
- share relevant Employability Skills Development data with each other, and
- have a consistent, shared common Employability Skills Development goal.
We have developed our Transition Skills as a Service (TSaaS) solution using our Goal Attainment approach to help the Neurodivergent Employment Ecosystem educators, case managers, trainers, consultants, and employers face this complex, dynamic challenge. Our TSaaS team works with organizations to identify the factors that impact their neurodivergent students, employees, and clients ability to attain and sustain competitive, integrated employment. The TSaaS team uses this information to develop custom, comprehensive plans to address the factors that lead to the desired employment outcomes for our neurodiversity community.

Effective Employability Skills Development
Many neurodivergent individuals in the state possess the skills, education, qualifications, and intellect to excel at jobs that are in high demand. They also desire to have competitive, integrated employment. But they lack soft skills training and education specifically tailored for them to work effectively and confidently in neurotypical workplaces.
Our TSaaS team of experts understand how neurodivergent individuals learn, communicate, and behave and they understand the unique accommodations and support neurodivergent individuals need to have a successful, sustainable, and fulfilling workplace experience. Our TSaaS team works with the state’s Neurodivergent Employment Ecosystem vocational trainers, educators, case managers, and consultants to ensure they are utilizing best practices to develop their Employability Skills. We provide roadmaps to get students from where they are to employment ready. We train staffs in areas of Employability Skills Development deficiencies, provide on demand access to subject matter experts, provide prescriptive interventions to keep individuals on track towards their employability goals, and we continually monitor individuals progress towards their Employability Skills Development Goals as needed for the duration of the program. By working collaboratively across the Neurodiveregent Employment Ecosystem, we appreciably increase the number of individuals attaining the desired employment outcomes.
High Demand Job Openings
A Fortune 500 corporation is not able to fill a number of highly technical positions due to the low supply of qualified applicants and the limitations on H1B visas. The corporation values talent and invests heavily in the recruitment and retention of talented professionals. A recent neurodivergent self-identification survey revealed that at least 1% of Fortune 500 employees were neurodivergent and the survey also revealed that they expressed daily fears of being fired, mental exhaustion, and described a standard day as being a regular nightmare, and noted that they think about quitting daily. The CEO is faced with 2 problems. How to convince her talented neurodivergent employees to stay with the company and how to find more excellent, skilled employees from within the neurodiversity community.
Our TSaaS team is a collection of neurodivergent industry experts and specialists with years of diverse, hands-on experience helping neurodivergent individuals overcome challenges to become job ready.
Our TSaaS team identifies and train neurodivergent individuals in the soft skill areas needed to work in the corporation’s diverse workplace. The TSaaS team helps design an internship program with specific time lengths allowing interns to become acclimated to the workplace environment overtime. The TSaaS team also provides expert guidance and recommendations on the accommodations and support systems needed in the workplace and from management. The team helps them augment their corporate neurodiversity program in a way that allows the corporation to support neurodivergent individuals throughout their tenure with the company. Additionally, the TSaaS team provides staff and management training to facilitate effective communication and mutual respect between all personnel. The TSaaS services leads to higher productivity and lower stress for neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals driving down the overall costs associated with replacing high demand employees and slow growth due to the lack of a qualified workforce.
